Anjani Kumar Pokharel has been recommended for the post of Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Armed Police Force. <\/p>\n<p>A meeting of the promotion committee held on Tuesday decided to recommend Pokharel for the post of AIG. Now, the cabinet meeting will decide on the promotion of APF Deputy Inspector General Pokharel. <\/p>\n<p>Pokharel is currently serving as the Chief of the Armed Police Force Bagmati Province. His role in smuggling control, border security, disaster management and production of divers manpower has made him a distinct identity within the organization. <\/p>\n<p>Pokharel has been actively involved in efficiency, result-oriented leadership, smuggling control and disaster management.
