In the program, detailed discussions were held on financial risk and national-level risk assessment, especially in course of real estate transactions. <\/p>\n
The session, organized with the objective of making the real estate sector in Nepal more systematic and transparent, highlighted the concerns of the Financial Information Unit (FIU) and other regulatory bodies, and the legal process to be followed by newly licensed entities while conducting business. <\/p>\n
This important workshop was facilitated by AML Nepal’s experts Shreedhar Adhikari and Selina Adhikari. During the training, they explained to the participants the role of real estate entrepreneurs in controlling financial crimes and their professional conduct as per international standards. The technical aspects of pre-operation, risk identification and reporting system were prioritized in the program, especially for new real estate entrepreneurs. <\/p>\n
