The government has indicated that it may implement odd-even system in transport operation if necessary in view of the fuel crisis. <\/p>\n<p>Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal said that the government has already called for energy conservation. &#8220;The government has taken a special policy decision to address the growing fuel crisis and economic burden,&#8221; she said. <\/p>\n<p>The government has already announced a two-day holiday on Saturdays and Sundays in view of the fuel crisis. On the other hand, the government has also drastically cut the fuel allowance of high-ranking government employees. <\/p>\n<p>The government has decided to waive 50 per cent customs duty and infrastructure development tax on petrol, diesel and kerosene.
