The government has directed the government to widen the publicity of the ‘Shramdhan Call Centre’ that has been brought into operation with the objective of immediately addressing the complaints and problems related to foreign employment.TAG_CLOSE_b_3 The Foreign Employment Board Secretariat under the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has issued a letter to various stakeholders in this regard. <\/p>\n
The Board has asked Foreign Employment Professionals Association, empanelled health check-up institutions, orientation training providers, insurance companies and banks to mandatorily install informative boards of ‘Labour Call Centre’ in their office premises.TAG_OPEN_p_5 <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
In order to make the problems of workers safe and systematic and to make the foreign labor migration cycle dignified, the Board has requested to keep the publicity materials visible to all as per the prescribed criteria (stand board, sign board, flex or digital board).TAG_OPEN_p_4 In this way, the compulsory publicity of private sector organizations (manpower, medical, insurance) seems to be trying to make it more effective. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
With this provision, the workers going for foreign employment or who are abroad will be able to contact the call center directly if they have any query or problem related to the Ministry of Labor.
