The maximum temperature level of the workplace has been set for workers and workers. <\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has implemented the maximum temperature standard (standard) for the workplace from today. It is 32.2 degree centegrade for light work, 30.6 degree centegrade for medium work, 28.9 degree centegrade for hard work and 26.9 degree centegrade for very difficult work. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Light Tasks: <\/span> Sitting or standing to control machines, using hands, such as cutting with a hand, transporting light goods. <\/li>\n<li>{{TAG_OPEN_span_17}Medium work: <\/span> Continuous hand and arm work. The act of pushing or pulling lightly. For example, moving tables and chairs, moving things up and down. <\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Difficult work: <\/span> Strenuous work affecting the muscles of the arms and body. Lifting and shoveling. Eating, carrying, pushing or pulling heavy loads, walking at a fast pace. <\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Very difficult tasks: <\/span> Very strenuous activities performed at high speed to maximum speed. <\/li>\n<li> Inside a room, the wind speed must be greater than 1.5 meters per second at an altitude of 1.5 meters above ground level. <\/li>\n<p>The temperature of a wet bulb will always be lower than that of a dry bulb but will be the same at 100% relative humidity.TAG_OPEN_li_22 <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<p>The WBGT should be measured using a wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT) meter.TAG_OPEN_li_21 The WBGT meter should be kept in the workplace for at least 1 hour to measure WBGT. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li> If the work has to be operated at a temperature different from the above mentioned heat level, it may be done by arranging for safety control measures such as personal protective equipment (PPE), jab rotation, etc. as needed. <\/li>\n<p>{{TAG_OPEN_li_19} These criteria will be reviewed within 3 years from the date of implementation. <\/li>\n<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/media.insurancekhabar.com\/uploads\/2026\/03\/%E0%A4%AE%E0%A4%BE%E0%A4%AA%E0%A4%A6%E0%A4%A3%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%A1_qazbd6z.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"\" data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\" data-toolbar=\"both\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"on\">\u092e\u093e\u092a\u0926\u0923\u094d\u0921_qazbd6z<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
