Kathmandu.\u00a0The District Administration Office, Parsa, has introduced a new system to make the process of registering the details of the national identity card easier and faster. <\/p>\n
The technical coordination between the two systems under the Ministry of Home Affairs will save the hassle and time of the service recipients. <\/p>\n
According to the Administration Office, there is an inter-linkage of service between the Centralized Citizenship Management Information System and the National Identity Management Information System currently in operation. This has significantly improved the online application process. <\/p>\n
Key points of the new system: <\/p>\n
No need to fill online form: Citizens who have obtained citizenship on or after Chaitra 8, 2082 will no longer have to fill up the online form for the national identity card. <\/p>\n
Direct biometric registration: People who have obtained new citizenship will be able to register their biometric details directly at the office. <\/p>\n
For the holder of citizenship of previous date: In the case of citizens who have already obtained citizenship before that date, the service can be availed only by filling up an online form as per the previous provision. <\/p>\n
According to the notice signed by Administrative Officer Rekha Kumari, this arrangement aims to reduce the time and cost of the service recipients as well as minimize the technical hassles. <\/p>\n
