Before attacking Iran, the US invaded Venezuela and kidnapped its then-president. US President Donald Trump has threatened to invade Cuba. Russia and Ukraine have been at war for four years, affecting large parts of Europe. <\/p>\n
Experts are fearing a third world war. It has raised questions among people around the world about safe countries in a world war-like situation. <\/p>\n
1. New Zealand is considered to be a very safe country away from world unrest. Its last island in the South Pacific is more than 2,500 miles [2,500 km] from Antarctica. Due to New Zealand’s peaceful nature and low strategic importance, the world’s major powers have not taken much interest in it. <\/p>\n
2. Antarctica is one of the safest places to visit during a nuclear war. This is due to its location on the southernmost continent in the world. Spread over 14 million square kilometers, the continent is completely isolated. Its distance from major military bases makes it less vulnerable to attack. Antarctica’s harsh climate also acts as a natural shield. <\/p>\n
3. Chile can also be included in this list. It is surrounded by the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It is thus located at a safe distance from many conflict zones. Chile can sustain its population for a long time, even if international trade routes are blocked due to its agriculture and raw materials. <\/p>\n
4. Argentina can be considered a very safe country in the event of a major conflict. Argentina has a large amount of agricultural land. Aside from historical disputes, its reliable domestic crops make it a very safe haven. This country has the potential to meet the needs of a large population. <\/p>\n
5. Paraguay is a remote neutral country with strong agricultural self-sufficiency. It is landlocked and only has access to the Atlantic Ocean via the Paran\u00e1-Paraguay waterway. This unitary presidential republic is a peaceful land. It is largely isolated from the turmoil of world politics. <\/p>\n
6. Uruguay is far removed from major international tension areas. This reduces the likelihood of direct involvement in major wars. Uruguay’s foreign policy is based on complete non-interference and multilateralism. So that military conflicts can be avoided. <\/p>\n
7. Bhutan is a country that has been the site of conflict between India, Pakistan and China. Bhutan, on the other hand, has maintained a policy of non-alignment since it became a member of the United Nations in 1971. The country, known as Shangi-La, is surrounded by high mountain ranges and has little contact with the world. <\/p>\n
8. Switzerland has long maintained a reputation as one of the most beautiful and safe countries in the world. Switzerland has followed a policy of non-alignment for two centuries. It survived two world wars and remains intact. One of the reasons for its safety is its rugged alpine terrain.
