KATHMANDU \u2014 Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sudhan Gurung has won the by-election from Gorkha-1 in the district. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Election Commission, Gurung has garnered 24,001 votes so far. A total of 64,000 votes were cast in the constituency. More than 53,000 votes have been counted so far. <\/p>\n<p>His nearest rival was NC&#8217;s Prem Kumar Khatri who got 13,511 votes. In this sense, Gurung&#8217;s victory is almost certain. <\/p>\n<p>Hari Raj Adhikari came third with 10,231 votes.
