The proportional representation (PR) votes were 34 per cent more than that of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in the election to the House of Representatives. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Election Commission, so far 8,122,889 votes have been counted under the proportional representation category. Out of this, the Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) alone got 3,916,502 votes. This is 33.70 percent more than that of the Congress. The Nepali Congress has garnered 1,319,879 votes so far. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, CPN-UML has garnered 1,119,841 votes while NCP has received 576,106 votes. <\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the Labour and Culture Party has overtaken RPP in the proportional representation category. The Labour and Culture Party bagged 284,583 votes while the RPP bagged 271,937 votes. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the Janata Samajbadi Party has bagged 121,592 votes while the Rastriya Parivartan Party has bagged 113,651 votes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
