Ranjit garnered a total of 33,436 votes. He defeated his nearest rival Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) candidate Prem Suwal by 5,289 votes. <\/p>\n<p>Bhaktapur: The Workers and Peasants Party (RPP) has ended its unbeaten streak in the elections to the House of Representatives and Municipalities in Bhaktapur constituency-1 after the Panchayat era. <\/p>\n<p>Ranjit has been active not only in politics but also in the field of social service in Bhaktapur.
