Around 6.25 million votes were cast across the country till 2 pm on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>A total of 6,220,042 votes were cast till 2 pm in 165 constituencies across the country. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Kathmandu Valley (47 per cent) followed by Gandaki Province (39 per cent). <\/p>\n<p>Voting is taking place in 10,967 polling stations across the country except a few from 7:00 am. So far, 33 percent of the total votes have been cast in the country.
