At least 18 people were killed when a passenger bus met with an accident in Dhading district of Dhading district on Sunday morning. The security personnel have rescued 24 injured. <\/p>\n<p>The accident took place when a passenger bus (Ga 1 Kha 1421) veered off the road at Benighat Rorang rural municipality-5 in Dhading district and plunged into the Trishuli River at around 1.30 am on Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>According to APF central spokesperson Bishnu Prasad Bhatta, 18 bodies have been recovered from the incident site so far. A total of 24 people injured in the accident were rescued and sent to different hospitals for treatment, police said. <\/p>\n<p>The identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be ascertained and the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. <\/p>\n<p>Teams from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army have been mobilised for rescue operation. <\/p>\n<p>A team of divers from the Disaster Management Training School, Kurintar, is continuing the search and rescue operation for other passengers who may have gone missing in the river.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
