Now, the farm price of 30 big eggs per crate has reached Rs 495. Previously, the price was Rs 465 per crate. The price of eggs has increased by Rs 30. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the farm price of medium eggs has been fixed at Rs 475 per crate. Earlier, the price was Rs 445 per crate. <\/p>\n<p>Egg prices hit an all-time high in November. At that time, a large egg was sold at Rs 565 per crate at the farm. The price per crate was Rs 550. <\/p>\n<p>According to Association President Binod Pokharel, the price of eggs has increased due to the creation of an atmosphere of elections in Nepal and the tightening of border areas along with the elections. The gradual improvement in egg prices is due to a decrease in the number of chickens producing eggs and the reopening of closed schools. The cost of production of eggs is Rs 19.12 per egg. This calculates the cost price of farmers to Rs 574.06 per crate. <\/p>\n<p>Farmers were disappointed when the price of eggs fell again when the cost price was nearing the end. Now the farmers are hoping that the price will increase.
