Kathmandu. The 38th annual general meeting of the National Life Insurance Company has been concluded. The meeting was held at the company’s central office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The Fiscal Year 2081. The meeting has approved 4 percent bonus share and 8.5 percent cash dividend on the current paid-up capital of the company. The meeting will also approve a cash dividend of 0.66 percent from the tax set aside for the purpose of dividend. <\/p>\n
The meeting also endorsed a proposal to amend the memorandum of association by increasing the paid-up capital. The meeting also approved a proposal to further revise the existing investment provisions of the company. <\/p>\n
The meeting passed a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to follow the opinions, suggestions or directives received from the regulatory bodies while amending the Regulations and Memorandum of Association. <\/p>\n
The meeting approved the annual and auditor’s report of the last fiscal year and the current fiscal year 2082. 83. The meeting has approved the proposal regarding the appointment of auditor and fixation of his remuneration. <\/p>\n
The company’s total insurance premium increased by 10.26 percent to Rs 2,259.37 crore. Total insurance contract liability increased by 18.83 percent from the previous year to Rs. 9,458.77 crore at the end of the year. Similarly, in the review year, the company has earned Rs. 100,000 in death claims, expiry and partial termination claims, surrender value, claims and other claim payments.
