Saudi Arabia has launched a crackdown on illegal immigrants. In the first week of January alone, 18,836 illegal immigrants were arrested and more than 10,000 were deported. <\/p>\n<p>The nationwide crackdown on illegal immigrants is being carried out at the behest of the Saudi government. Those who violate labor laws and border laws have been deported. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, the arrests took place from January 1 to 7 in a joint operation involving security forces and government agencies. The ministry said 11,710 people were found to have violated housing laws. According to the ministry, 4,239 people have violated border security rules. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, 2,887 people were violating the labour law.
