Kathmandu. Life insurance companies in the current fiscal year 2082. In the first five months of ’83, both the number of insurance premiums and the amount of surrender have decreased. <\/p>\n
According to the Insurance Reflection published by the Insurance Authority of Nepal (NIA), the number of insurance policies submitted till mid-December of the current fiscal year has decreased by 17.56 percent. So far, 37,149 insurance policies have been submitted. In the same period of the last fiscal year, the insured had surrendered 45,060 policies. <\/p>\n
As the number of surrenders decreases, the amount paid for surrenders has also decreased. In the last fiscal year, the life insurance company had paid a total of Rs 6.19 billion as dedication. The insured has received payment of Rs 5.69 billion till mid-December this year. The surrender amount decreased by 6.80 percent compared to the previous year. <\/p>\n
According to NEA, there has been a slight increase in the number of life insurance policies that have exceeded 6 months from the date of payment of renewal insurance premium. The number of insurance policies during the review period increased by 0.49 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. <\/p>\n
In the last five months, 12,20,415 insurance policies have been issued. The amount of insurance policy spent is Rs 36.98 billion. In the last fiscal year, the amount of insurance policy was Rs 35.41 billion. In the same period last year, 12,14,500 insurance policies were issued. <\/p>\n
