The Citizens Investment Trust (CIT) is holding its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 15. The annual general meeting has been called at 11:00 am at its central office. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on December 9 has fixed the date for the meeting. <\/p>\n<p>The AGM will endorse a proposal of distributing 13 percent dividend including 5 percent bonus shares and 8 percent cash dividend. <\/p>\n<p>The AGM will endorse the annual report, balance sheet along with auditor&#8217;s report, statements of profit or loss, cash flow and other financial statements of the last fiscal year. <\/p>\n<p>The AGM shall elect one ordinary shareholder to the Board of Directors of the Fund and appoint one representative each on behalf of the shareholders and directors to sign the AGM resolution book. <\/p>\n<p>The Fund is closing the book for one day on January 21 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. Therefore, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till January 20 will be able to participate in the dividend and receive the proposed dividend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
