The company is expected to raise more than $30 billion from this IPO. Its valuation is expected to reach about $1.5 trillion. <\/p>\n
The current offer puts SpaceX’s share price at about $420. This puts the company at a valuation of more than $800 billion. If SpaceX were to sell 5 percent of the company at this valuation, it would have to sell $40 billion worth of shares. This will make it the biggest IPO ever. SpaceX is currently the world’s most valuable startup company. <\/p>\n
SpaceX management and advisers aim to have an IPO in mid-to-late 2026. However, this date could be pushed back to 2027 due to market conditions and other factors. <\/p>\n
The largest IPO so far was that of Saudi Aram. It raised $29 billion through an IPO in 2019. However, the company sold only a 1.5 percent stake. <\/p>\n
