Kathmandu. Citizens Bank has decided to hold its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 26. The assembly will begin at 11:00 am at Anupam Foodland and Banquet in Battisputali, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve a total dividend of 5.263 percent of the current paid-up capital proposed for the company. This includes 5 percent bonus shares and 0.263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. <\/p>\n
The meeting will also endorse a special proposal to amend the Memorandum of Association as the issued and paid-up capital will increase after the distribution of bonus shares. The meeting shall approve a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to modify the suggestions received from the regulatory bodies while amending the Memorandum of Association. <\/p>\n
The AGM will elect 1 director representing promoter group and 3 directors representing general public. The meeting will approve the annual report and the auditor’s report of the previous fiscal year. <\/p>\n
The same assembly elected the current fiscal year 2082. 83. The resolution for the appointment of the auditor and the determination of his remuneration shall be approved. <\/p>\n
The bank has already closed its book on November 3 for dividend and meeting. This means that shareholders who have remained in power as of November 1 are eligible to attend the AGM and receive dividends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
