KATHMANDU: Employees of the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) have been protesting against the bonus they are getting. They have decided to call off the protest from Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Chairman of NEPSE Employees&#8217; Union, Nawaraj Thapa, said that preparations are underway to postpone the protest for the time being as the case related to the bonus to the employees is sub-judice at the court. &#8220;Today we will hold discussions and maybe we will postpone the agitation from tomorrow,&#8221; he said. We are ready to accept the court&#8217;s decision. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>For the past few years, they have been demanding 5 percent bonus. However, the Ministry of Finance had been sending letters to distribute only 1 percent bonus to the employees. <\/p>\n<p>The employees of NEPSE have been protesting for the past 37 days after they were dissatisfied with the bonus issue.\u00a0The case is currently sub-judice at the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
