Musk has announced the formation of a new political party in X. Citing the results of a recent survey in his X Post, he wrote, “Today the America Party is formed to give back your and your freedom. \u2019<\/p>\n
Musk claimed in the poll that the public wants a new political alternative in the ratio of 2:1. “You want a new political party and now this political party is in front of you,” Musk wrote. <\/p>\n
Why did Musk form a new party? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In his announcement, Musk criticized the current political system, saying, “When it comes to bankruptcy of our country with filth and corruption, we are living in a one-party system, not a democracy.” \u2019<\/p>\n Musk also said that the Us Party was formed to bring back the lost freedoms of the people. <\/p>\n Musk posted a survey on his platform X during the U.S. Independence Day celebrations on July 4. In which he asked his followers, “Independence Day is the best time to ask if anyone wants freedom from a two-party system! Should we form the Us Party?” <\/p>\n In this survey, 65.4 percent said ‘yes’ while 34. Percent said ‘no’. Musk described this strong public support as an inspiration to start the party and presented it as a response to the growing dissatisfaction of the public towards both Republican and Democratic major parties. <\/p>\n Earlier, Musk had hinted at the possibility of starting a third political party in the US after receiving a positive response to a post on X. “Allen starting a third party is like Tesla and SpaceX. There is little chance of success but if the party succeeds, the game will change completely. \u2019<\/p>\n Musk recently announced the formation of a new political party after being away from the Trump administration and also leaving the DOGE.
