Kathmandu. The 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Himalayan Life Insurance is being held today. The company has convened the meeting at 10:30 am today at Amrapali Bank, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
The assembly will pass a special resolution to distribute cash dividend (including taxes) at the rate of 8 percent of the existing paid-up capital. <\/p>\n

The meeting will discuss and approve the annual report of the Board of Directors for the financial year 2080\/81, the auditor’s report prepared in accordance with the NFRS for the period of the company for the financial year 2080\/81, the balance sheet and profit loss account and cash flow statement and related schedules. <\/p>\n
The meeting will approve the financial statements of Himalayan Investment Bank Limited, a subsidiary of the company, for the financial year 2080\/81. The Meeting shall pass a resolution to appoint an external auditor for the financial year 2081\/82 and approve his remuneration as per the decision of the Board of Directors (the current auditor S.C. Lal Associates Chartered Accountant will be eligible for re-appointment). <\/p>\n
The meeting will pass resolutions to authorise the Board of Directors to carry out any changes, modifications and modifications on the proposed matter of the company, and to approve the expenditure incurred in the financial year 2080\/81 in accordance with Section 105 (1) (c) of the Companies Act. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n The company had closed the book for a day on June 15 for the purpose of general meeting and dividend distribution.
