Kathmandu. Us President Donald Trump’s company Trump Organization launched a new smartphone brand and network service called Trump Mobile on June 16. <\/p>\n
According to a Reuters report, this new company has been started in Trump Tower in New York. The brand has launched a 5G smartphone called T1. The price of which is 499 US dollars i.e. about 68 thousand rupees. This smartphone will be fully manufactured in the US. It can be booked for $100 from the official website. Sales are expected to begin in September. <\/p>\n
The network service will also start from September. Under this, a monthly plan named ‘The 47 Plan’ has been started. Its price is 47.45 i.e. about Rs 6,500. This will allow users to make unlimited calls. Facilities such as telemedicine and roadside assistance will also be available. <\/p>\n
Recently, Trump had threatened Apple that if iPhones are made in India or abroad, they will be taxed at 25 per cent. Despite this, Tim Cook’s company continues to increase production in India. Now Trump will compete with Apple by launching mobile. <\/p>\n
The low price of Trump Mobile and the claim of ‘Made in USA’ could give it early publicity, especially among Trump supporters. However, to compete with Apple, it will have to match the quality, performance and long-term software support, which seems difficult right now. <\/p>\n
The company has said that the phone will be made completely in the US and call centers will also be here. The Trump Organization is run by Trump’s sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. This decision has been taken to avoid conflict of interest. <\/p>\n
