In addition, Mayor Bass urged US President Donald Trump to stop the raid. “I have declared a local emergency and imposed a curfew in the city of Los Angeles to stop vandalism and looting,” Mayor Bass told the media. \u2019<\/p>\n
Mayor Bass said the curfew will be in force from 8 pm on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday (local time). “Curfew will be imposed in 1 square mile (2.59 sq km) area of the city. This includes areas where protests have been taking place since Friday. \u2019<\/p>\n
Los Angeles has been witnessing violent protests since the Trump administration expelled immigrants. Taking advantage of this demonstration, some groups have looted. <\/p>\n
