From the gentle chirping of birds to the cool air, time seemed to slow down. I could sit on swings or on my balcony for hours, get lost in the spectacular view of the valley, or read books resting under the blooming Bougainvillea and Champa trees. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n

We were taken on foot to a nearby Buddhist restoration site\u2014still under construction, but I can already imagine how grand it will be when it’s complete. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n
