Rasuwa: A huge quantity of gold was seized on Sunday while it was being brought to Kathmandu from Rasuwa. <\/p>\n<p>According to Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, Arjun Poudel, a team of The District Police Office recovered the gold while it was being brought in a container from Rasuwagadhi border point. &#8220;The gold was being hidden by making false bottoms,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>Police have arrested the driver of the gold and container. CDO Poudel informed that the seized gold has been sent to the Customs Office for measurement. &#8220;The driver has been kept under the control of the district police,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>According to Rasuwa Police Sources, more than 7.5 kg of gold has been recovered. &#8220;Customs will check the exact quantity of gold,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
