Trump’s claim comes as Iran attacks U.S. military base in Qatar

Kathmandu. Us President Donald Trump has said that a “complete” ceasefire is aimed at ending the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran.

The us president’s claim came in the backdrop of Iran bombing US military bases in Qatar on Monday night. Both sides had threatened more deadly attacks before he made public information about the ceasefire.

An Iranian official confirmed Tehran had agreed to a ceasefire, but there has been no comment from Israel so far, according to The French Press.

A senior White House official said Israel agreed until Iran launched further attacks and trump had mediated the deal in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, there was still no calm in the area. The Israeli military issued two warnings to residents of the iranian capital Tehran in less than two hours, one late On Monday and the other on Tuesday morning.

According to AFP journalists, a series of powerful explosions rocked Tehran on Tuesday morning. Around 3:00 a.m. (2330 GMT), warplanes reverberated from above when an explosion occurred in the north and center of the Iranian capital.

According to us President Donald Trump’s announcement, Iran unilaterally stopped all actions and the explosions took place hours before the ceasefire came into force.
