Kathmandu. Micro non-life insurers have brought in a business of about Rs 850 million in the 11 months of the current fiscal year.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) till May 30, four micro-life insurers have earned a total insurance premium of Rs 849.5 million by selling 339,214 insurance policies.
Nepal Micro Insurance has the highest number of business arrivals in the 11 months of the current fiscal year. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 237.9 million by selling 92,762 policies.
Protective Micro Insurance is the second largest producer of business. The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 221 million by selling 87,599 policies.
Similarly, Star Micro Insurance has earned Rs 201.7 million by selling 91,189 policies and Trust Micro Insurance has earned Rs 188.7 million by selling 67,664 policies till May 31.
