Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance has paid more than 60 per cent of the total property insurance claims paid during the GenG agitation.
In a press release today, the company said it has so far paid more than Rs 1.26 billion to the company for arson and vandalism during the Genji agitation on September 7 and 24. According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, the non-life insurance companies have so far paid Rs 2.01 billion out of 3,166 claims made by the insurance companies. Out of the total payment, Siddhartha Premium Insurance has paid only 60.30 percent.
According to the press release, the company has been settling insurance claims for damage to personal, public, government property and industry with utmost importance. “We have received 357 insurance claims amounting to Rs 5.49 billion for the damages caused by the agitation,” the statement said, adding, “The company has so far paid 105 full and advance claims amounting to over Rs 1.26 billion.” ’
The company also respectfully recalled the fact that it had fulfilled its duties and obligations honestly by managing the damage caused by the increase in the month of September. “We are committed to restoring the financial loss of the insured by settling the claim of the insured by settling the claim of the insured as we have always been with the insured even in adverse circumstances. ’
The company has also requested the remaining insured to take active part in this campaign and help in the claim settlement process by submitting the necessary documents as soon as possible.
