Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has appointed a consultancy firm to check the financial quality of assets invested by commercial banks.
Issuing a public notice on Wednesday, the Rastra Bank said that the chartered accountant company of Havildar Yunus & Co has been selected on the basis of financial and technical evaluation under the provisions of Section 38 (2) of the Public Procurement Act 2063.
According to the NRB, the company is going to be appointed to provide services at a total of Rs 6.25 4 million excluding total taxes. Based on the letter of intent published by the Rastra Bank, the bank will take over the work if the company is willing to enter into a service agreement.
Headquartered in Bangladesh, this chartered accountant company is a 50-year-old company.
