Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life and Chirayu Hospital enter into strategic partnership to expand access to health and insurance services

Kathmandu. Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life Insurance and Chirayu National Hospital and Medical Institute have entered into an important strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to affordable, quality healthcare and life insurance services.

Chief Executive Officer of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Santosh Prasain and Operations Director of Chirayu Hospital Chandreshwar NR Baidya signed the agreement. Deputy CEO of Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Kishor Prasad Lamichhane and Business Development Officer of Chirayu Hospital Basanta Khanal were present on the occasion.

Both companies believe that this one-year agreement will greatly benefit employees, agents, shareholders and the general public, while bridging the gap between nepal’s healthcare supply and financial security. As per the agreement, Chirayu Hospital will provide special discount facilities to prabhu Mahalaxmi Life’s employees, agents, shareholders and their dependent family members.

Chirayu Hospital will offer 15 percent discount on bed charges, 10 percent discount on in-hospital testing services and 5 percent discount on purchase of medicines. In addition, free ambulance service will be provided within the Kathmandu Valley and special discount of 10 percent to 25 percent will be provided to the recommended patients according to the service.

As per the agreement, Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life will provide various insurance schemes to the employees working at Chirayu Hospital. The insurance premium will be paid by Chirayu Hospital. The initiative aims to ensure the financial security and overall well-being of the employees of Chirayu Hospital.

Established with the common objective of providing quality and affordable services, this partnership is expected to set an excellent example of collaboration between the health and insurance sectors.
