Non-life insurer’s investment is around Rs 66.25 billion, how much? (with list)

Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies last fiscal year 2081. He has invested rs 66.25 billion in various sectors.

According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (INSURANCE) for the last fiscal year, 14 non-life insurers have invested a total of Rs 66.23 billion in various sectors. Last year 2080. Non-life insurers had invested Rs 66.52 billion in 2018. Compared to the previous year, the investment of companies decreased by 0.43 percent in the review year.

Non-life insurers have invested Rs 51.31 billion in fixed deposits of banks and financial institutions alone. In this way, 77.48 percent of the total investment of non-life insurers is in fixed deposits of banks and financial institutions.

In the review year, life insurance companies invested Rs 44.94 billion in A-class banks, Rs 5.23 billion in B-class banks and Rs 1.13 billion in C-class financial institutions.

Similarly, rs 603.6 million in government savings certificates and bonds, Rs 4.42 billion in listed public company shares, Rs 2.89 billion in preference shares, bonds, debentures and debentures of banks and financial institutions, Rs 1.88 billion in bond debentures and bonds of listed public companies, Rs 1.07 billion in citizen investment funds and mutual funds. They have invested Rs 294.3 million in shares of investment companies, Rs 2.60 billion in other founder shares and Rs 14 million in shares of unlisted public companies.

Similarly, non-life insurers have invested Rs 1.25 billion in agriculture production and distribution, cold storage houses, tourism industry, hydropower, solar energy, cable car, road, power transmission line, education and health sectors, and Rs 922.2 million in other sectors.

Siddhartha Premier Insurance is the largest investor in various sectors. The company has invested a total of Rs 7.99 billion.

The second is the National Insurance Company. The company has invested Rs 7.77 billion.

Similarly, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance is the third non-life insurance company to invest the most. The company has invested Rs 7.27 billion.
