More than 2.25 billion loans from commercial banks, how much from which? (with list)

Kathmandu. Last fiscal year 2081. Commercial banks have invested more than Rs 2.25 trillion in 1982.

According to the nepal rastra bank(NRB) review year data, 20 commercial banks have invested Rs 230.93 billion in real estate. The previous fiscal year 2080. He had extended loans worth Rs 224.65 billion in 1981. Compared to the previous year, the loan to real estate increased by 2.80 percent in the review period.

As compared to the previous year, 15 commercial banks have increased their real estate loan investment and five have decreased in the review year. Nepal Investment Mega Bank is the largest lender while Kumari Bank is ahead in terms of growth rate.

In the review year, Nepal Investment Mega Bank has invested Rs 25.11 billion in real estate loans. In the previous fiscal year, the bank had disbursed loans worth Rs 24.63 billion. Nepal Investment Mega Bank’s loan investment has increased by 1.94 percent in the review year compared to the previous year.

Nabil Bank has extended its second loan to real estate. In the review year, the bank has disbursed loans worth Rs 24.65 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the bank had invested Rs 23.55 billion in real estate. Compared to the previous year, the loan from this bank has increased by 4.66 percent in the review year.

Nepal Investment Mega is the third largest real estate lender. The bank’s loan investment declined by 15.14 percent to Rs 24.27 billion in the review year from Rs 28.60 billion in the previous year.

In comparison to the previous year, loans from NIC Asia, Himalayan Bank, Nepal Bank, Siddhartha Bank and Nepal SBI Bank have decreased. The remaining 15 commercial banks have increased. Among them, Kumari Bank’s loan investment in real estate has increased by 75.22 percent while Nepal Bank’s loan has decreased by 38.57 percent.
