Kathmandu. Global IME Bank Limited has released a calendar for the New Year 2082 BS, featuring rare photographs reflecting decades-old Nepali lifestyles. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Global IME Bank Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal unveiled the New Year 2082 calendar at a function organized at the bank’s corporate office, Kamaladi.
The calendar includes rare photographs that capture the Nepali lifestyle, customs and traditional practices of decades ago. The photographs will help to remind the new generations of the lifestyle and customs that have changed with the flow of time and inform them about the lifestyle, customs and conditions of the past.
Releasing the calendar, Chairman Dhakal said that Global IME Bank has been fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and carrying out various social works.
Recalling that the calendar has been publishing topics related to Nepali art and culture for years, he said, “For the all-round development of Nepal, we need to protect and promote Nepali art, literature, culture and civilization. Global IME Bank has been continuing such activities under its corporate social responsibility.”
The program was attended by the bank’s board of directors, top management, bank employees and various individuals.
