E-commerce training for women entrepreneurs begins

Kathmandu. Bhaktapur: The e-commerce training has started from Thursday in collaboration with Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized by the Office of Industry and Commerce, Bhaktapur. Inaugurating the e-commerce training for women entrepreneurs in the district, Industry Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration Binu Bajracharya expressed the belief that the e-commerce training would be useful for the promotion of business of women entrepreneurs. She urged them to utilize the knowledge learned in the training for the development of their business.

Ram Prasad Kusma, office chief of the Office of Industry and Commerce, Bhaktapur, said that the e-commerce training has been organized for women who are doing entrepreneurship and want to venture in the future under the annual approved program of the office for the fiscal year 2081/82 BS. President of Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Roshni Maiya Dhobanja, stressed the need to not only limit the knowledge and skills learned from the e-commerce training but also implement it in practice. She said that in today’s era of technology, e-commerce training is important for developing and promoting our enterprises, businesses by making maximum use of technology.

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Bagmati Province’s Small and Medium Industries Committee President Laxmi Khanal said the training would be effective for women entrepreneurs.

Treasurer of Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bishwaram Duwal, executive committee member and coordinator of training and skill development sub-committee Prithvi Bhakta Prajapati said the training would help women entrepreneurs to enhance their technology-related professional skills and capabilities.

Saurabh Chalise and Rohan Poudel are the trainers in the training.
