After the Pahalgam attack, some sleeper cells have been activated in the area and they have been instructed to resume activity. The TRT continues to maintain intelligence vigils about attempts to carry out major attacks as well as carry out some targeted killings to avenge the destruction of the homes of the terrorists who carried out the attack. Security forces have tightened security at several sensitive tourist spots, including Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Lake areas.

This attack can affect all areas of Kashmir. Tourism in particular may have a greater impact. Investors who intend to open hotels, companies, and do fruit businesses can shake their confidence. This could halt kashmir’s economic progress, which has stabilized after years of hard work. Not only this, it can also have a profound impact on the income of the people of Kashmir. – Agency
